The Strange Collapse of Building 7 Still Remains a 911 Mystery
Proprietor Larry Silverstein says "pull the plug" but 911 Commission never fully investigates. FEMA again whisks away evidence before "prying eyes" have chance to view hard evidence. Critics claim evidence taken to hide senstive information behind 911 government conspiracy plot.

Although the official story about the collapse of the WTC is filled with errors, the often-ignored fall of nearby Building 7 is even more troubling.

It is generally overlooked because flimsy government theories used to dismiss the Twin Towers collapse cannot explain away the demise of Building 7 without sounding completely ridiculous.

In fact, there has never been an official explanation why the 47-story steel high-rise fell.

Located more than a football field away (355 feet) from the South Tower and farther from the North, it collapsed about 8 hours later at approximately 5:20pm even though it was not struck by one of the hijacked planes and only small fires burned on the 7th and 12th floors from cross-over debris.

 There are other suspicious facts:

For unknown reasons, why did the sprinkler system suddenly fail?

Why did the building collapse when Buildings 4 and 5 stood tall after much larger fires raged all day long and were put under control?

Why did it collapse when the other two buildings were much closer in proximity to the WTC?

Why? The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) reports it could have occurred from large amounts of diesel fuel stored in the basement, but the sketchy report also claims this hypothesis “has only a low probability of occurrence.”

Why? Independent investigators point directly to a controlled demolition.

After looking at both, it seems the demolition conclusion is far more credible since the collapse began at the bedrock with much of the pulverized concrete found at the building’s base.

Further, the interior of the building collapsed first, followed by the inward implosion of the outside walls, indicating the placement of pre-arranged explosives.

Again, like occurred with the WTC steel columns and debris, it was shipped overseas by FEMA, sold for recycling and quickly put out of sight before investigators had a chance to inspect any hard evidence.

In the case of Building 7, however, officials weren’t able to conveniently use the excuse for the quick removal used at the WTC since there was no need to search for survivors. There were no survivors and no loss of life because the building had already been completely evacuated hours before the collapse.

Even more puzzling are statements from a September 2002 PBS documentary featuring Larry Silverstein, the WTC and Building 7’s lessor. He can be heard saying to a fire department commander to “pull it” most likely referring to a controlled explosion. Coincidentally, immediately after he spoke, the building collapsed in such a manner.

In all fairness, it is not completely clear what Silverstein meant by “pull it,” but there is no doubt what control demolition experts mean by that statement. They mean pull the outside walls in through timed implosions.

Taking into consideration Silverstein also received $7 billion in insurance money from the losses at the WTC complex, it would seem reasonable for the 911 Commission to then ask him tough questions, especially regarding Building 7.

 However, they never did.

Silverstein, a well-connected New York real estate investor, won a coveted 99-year lease on the WTC from the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey less than two months prior to 911.

He received the lease worth an estimated $8 billion for a mere $3.2 billion, some observers saying because he had immense influence over politicians and government bureaucrats who owed him numerous favors.

Tenants in Building 7 on the morning of 911 reads like a list of government agencies involved in a John Clancy novel of intrigue and espionage, including the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the Department of Defense (DOD), the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and the New York Office of Emergency Management (OEM).

Strangely, the department heads made very little effort and remained publicly silent about investigating exactly why their agency offices were destroyed.

Critics contend, although little proof exists, that one of the reasons was to make sure sensitive information was destroyed, which would have implicated high-ranking officials to a 911conspiracy plot.

More outspoken critics even suggest Building 7 acted as “underground command headquarters” where the hijacked airplanes were remote controlled into their targets instead of being flown by the 19 alleged hijackers.
